John Kirby, Coordinator for Strategic Communications at the National Security Council in the White House: “We know that, so far, 22 Americans lost their lives and 17 remain unaccounted for. We know that these numbers are likely to increase in the days ahead.”

 

Less than 24 hours following the horrific attack, in which thousands of innocent civilians were murdered and abducted, a volunteer-based HQ was formed with the singular purpose of returning the abductees and missing persons. The HQ is comprised of thousands of friends, family members, and high-ranking members of the Security, Justice, Media, and Diplomacy apparatuses.
